About CSV (with coordinates) (CSV)

Plain-table points: columns for X/Y (or easting/northing, lon/lat) become geometry.

Worth knowing: Point data only on read (X/Y columns); geometry of other types is written as WKT.

About KML (KML)

Keyhole Markup Language — Google Earth's format. Always WGS84 geographic coordinates; supports styling, descriptions and folders.

Worth knowing: Attributes beyond name/description need ExtendedData; styling is lossy when round-tripping through GIS formats.

How the conversion works

  1. Drop your CSV file above.
  2. We read it locally with GDAL compiled to WebAssembly — nothing is uploaded.
  3. Optionally pick an output coordinate system; official datum grids are applied automatically.
  4. Download your KML result, with a transformation report showing exactly what was done.
