About MicroStation DGN (DGN)

Bentley MicroStation design files (v7). Common in civil and infrastructure work.

Worth knowing: V7 only in-browser; like all CAD, no CRS metadata — assign the source CRS.

About AutoCAD DXF (DXF)

The CAD interchange format. CAD drawings carry no coordinate system — tell us the CRS the drawing was set out in and we handle the rest.
